Great app until...

This was a great app until I get message saying that what I have is corrupt and that I need to trash it and re-download from the App Store. When I go to download it, I’m asked to pay $9.99…again! What? Please advise. I like your product, but I don’t think it’s my fault the app version I had was corrupt.

Awesome

Does what it says it does. Does not crash. Function is well thought out and implemented with care. Would buy again.

Love this App

The only thing i really liked about Windows OS is that this feature was build directly into it by dragging windows to the edge of the sceen. Moom brings that feature to the Mac in a different style. I like my Mac so much better that i don’t have to constantly resize when doing research papers. $10 seems kinda high at first, but it’s totally worth it.

I cannot live without this app! Apple should buy and integrate into OS X

This app is absolutely a must have!!! Apple should buy it an integrate it into the OS X. It is that well designed and integrated. It’s absolutely simple and intuitive to use. Wether you use the grid, presets, or screen edge snap to behaviors (or all three) you will quickly grow dependent on this app. It’s the first app I install on a new Mac. I’ve used it for years and it has always been stable and quickly update with each iterative release of OS X. Thank you to the developers for such a great app and diligent support over the years!

So helpful, and ridiculous cust. service...

I just spent the last 15 min. emailing back and forth with my specific request/how to…Rob was astounding - quick replies with great info… Get this app, without reservation… gcurtis

Awsome app

Like others on here this is a must have.

Thee dopest!

It should be a sin not having this installed on your Mac. I can’t see how anybody can rate this lower than 5 stars.

Why is Apple giving Developers Such a hard time?

Moom is THE BEST! I have tried a bunch of window placement applications, and Moom simply just works. Having said that, buying from the MAS is becoming more and more difficult, as developers are literally “boxed” in by “Sandboxing” rules, disallowing them to add features that one would get if one purchased direct. I see the MAS going by the wayside if this continues. It’s unfortunate really. I recommend this app whole heartedly, but if you want to receive future updates for your applications, start buying direct or you will not. This goes not just for Moom but for all apps, because after doing some research, I have found that most of my apps are in fact, outdated compared to the version if I had bought direct. Back to Moom, well, it has a bit of a learning curve, but the developer has great video tutorial support on the website, so once you set it up just the way you like it, it works like a dream. The developer is responsive and very good, and has other apps that are well built. I give this a ten star rating. Get it, you will not be dissapointed!

New Mac user hit pay dirt

I spent countless hours looking for a solution for sizing separate windows on my screen. I am a tennis pro and want to look at my vidio of a student while emailing or taking notes. i spent a lot of wasted money on several apps that promise what Moom does. finally i found Moom. as i said in my title, i am new to OS X. I have used iOS for years but always had to use windows from a laptop. Moom is so somple even I could use it:) I have been using it over this rainy weekend and have been happy with Moom’s performance. not once did it crash, freeze or work in a way that hinders performance. It is well worth the $10. I wish i Found it before wasting my money on other imitations. hats off to the developer!

Without Moom Yosemite would a burden

Moom is excellent. On hover it lists common window configurations: maximized, top half, bottom half, left half, right half, for you to select from. Below the list of set positions it shows your screen as a grid, so you can click a starting position (top-left of window), then drag down and right to pick a width and height (or place the bottom right of window), when you release the mouse button, the window is placed. I’m not sure if Microsoft has some patent on “maximize” or Apple is just too stubborn to admit that zoom and unzoom were stupid, but replacing the zoom with full screen in Yosemite would have sent me running back to Ubuntu if not for Moom. Moom makes it tolerable (still annoying to have to avoid the green button to avoid full screen view). I’ve tried other window managers and Moom has it right. If you work with multiple windows at once, or miss maximize, Moom is for you.

I agree with the other review, Perfect!

Been using this for years now, I haven’t found a single bug and it has never crashed. It’s easy to use, easy to configure and NOT needlessly complicated. Even a new mac/computer user should be able to master Moom. It just works! One of my favorite features is the ability to recall multiple window positions; makes it easy to set up your workspace for any desired task. I open the tools, viewers and apps I need and use the moom dropdown to layout, place and size all of my application windows (development, graphics, audio, editing, etc)

Awesome

How did I live without Moom? I use it constantly througout my work day. Super simple to use yet highly customizable. A soliid 5 stars.

Great.

I’ve tried about five window snapping tools and settled on this one. It’s simple to use and just works. You can make it as simple or complex as you like. I’ve never had a problem with it.

Wonderful For Dual Displays

Noramally, one of the hassels of using a second display is seeing all the windows open on it rush onto the primary display if the second display is turned off or otherwise becomes unavailable. Having just started using an old iMac as a secondary display for a new iMac, I was delighted to discover that Moom can be set to automatically repostion open windows back to the second display whenever it again becomes available. Moom has always been handy for quickly sizing and positioning windows, but the dual display trigger is icing on an already delicious cake.

The best window manager

I’ve tried a number of apps for managing windows on a screen (and multiple screens). Moom is the best, hands down.

Better than El Capitan’s Feature

The El Capitan version has a feature similar to this but Moom’s functionality still beats it. Advantages Moom has: 1. Ability to resize into different shapes 2. Ability to drag tabs from one browser window to another (El Capitan’s feature doesn’t allow this). The only advantage El Capitan has for its new feature is that they are new half screens in full screen mode. This gives the two screens more real esstate. Several years later I am still pleased I bought this app.

Can’t live without

This little utility app is amazing. I must use Windows at work. I find the snapping feature totally worthless. The OS is always doing something to the window that I didn’t want it to do. Moom is the exact opposite. You can configure how you best like it to work. It doesn’t just grab a window and move it no matter what you were trying to do. You hover over the controls and select what you’d like the set up to be. I love this app. I hope Apple stops making things impossible for developers. We need the Mac App Store. As a long time user, I remember not being able to find software even with a web search. I may have to search the store one app at a time but the exposure gives me a chance to find apps like this. If you have a big screen or smll screen and want to work with more than one application at a time, I recommend this application to all!

EXCELLENT and USEFUL

One of my go to tools for organization across multiple screens. Very useful!

The holy grail of screen management

the title says it all, now I dont need an external monitor any longer.

My Favorite app!

After downloading Moom I fell in love with it right away, no explanation for the reason needed. Everyone who uses Moom will understand. The price is so worth it. Customization is bomb as well, and I wasn’t paid for my review.
